Accelerated Psychiatric Solutions ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy and security of our patients and visitors. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the safeguards in place to keep your information confidential.

01

Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to respond to your inquiry and deliver excellent care. This typically includes contact details (name, phone, email), appointment preferences, the reason you reached out, and any information you voluntarily provide through our forms.

Protected Health Information (PHI) — diagnoses, medications, treatment notes, and clinical records — is collected and stored only through our secure, HIPAA-compliant patient portal. PHI is never collected through this public website or the contact form.

02

HIPAA & Health Information

As a licensed healthcare provider, Accelerated Psychiatric Solutions complies with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and applicable state privacy laws in Florida and New York.

A separate Notice of Privacy Practices describing how we use and disclose PHI is provided to every patient at the time of their first visit and is available on request. We maintain administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to protect electronic PHI in line with the HIPAA Security Rule.

03

How We Use Information

We use submitted information to:

  • Respond to inquiries and schedule appointments
  • Verify insurance eligibility and coordinate billing
  • Deliver and document clinical care
  • Send appointment reminders and care-related communications
  • Improve our services and website experience in aggregate, non-identifiable form

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information, and we do not use PHI for marketing without your written authorization.

04

When We Share Information

We share information only when necessary for treatment, payment, or healthcare operations — or when required by law. Limited sharing may occur with insurance carriers, pharmacies, laboratories, business associates under HIPAA agreements, and emergency responders in life-safety situations.

05

Cookies & Website Analytics

This site uses essential cookies to keep the site functional and aggregated analytics to understand which pages help visitors. You may decline non-essential cookies through our banner without losing access to core site features.

Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify individual visitors. We do not track health-related behavior across the web.

06

Data Security

Our website is served over encrypted HTTPS. PHI is housed in HIPAA-compliant clinical systems that use encryption at rest and in transit, role-based access, audit logging, and routine security review. Email and SMS are not secure channels and should not be used to transmit PHI — always use our patient portal for clinical communication.

07

Your Rights

You may request to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you outside of your clinical record. Patients also have specific rights under HIPAA to inspect, amend, and request a copy of their PHI, as well as an accounting of disclosures. To exercise any of these rights, contact our office.

08

Minors

We treat patients ages 8 and up. Information for minor patients is handled in compliance with state and federal law, with parent or legal-guardian involvement as appropriate to age and treatment context.

09

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "last updated" date at the top of the page. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
